The situation of Children and adolescents in other countries is pretty much similar to the one in Brazil. In our country, there are also these kinds of soldier-children, but they are exploited by the drug dealers. Other children are exploited in factions of big chains of the textile industry. Not to mention the fact that many of them leave home searching for better opportunities and are victims of domestic child labor 18 or sexual exploitation. People close their eyes to the children bearing a false statement that it is “better off working than stealing”, and that “work give us dignity”, “it forms character” and even that “ working does not kill anyone”.
